This apartment was mostly as advertised. Albert was great and very service oriented, we appreciated his help and availability to answer questions!!! The cleanliness state of the apartment left MUCH to be desired (perhaps they had scheduled a cleaning person based on our original later night arrival). The sheets were clean, but the bed coverings were filthy--both with just dirt and greasy spots. Likewise, no one had bothered to dust or wipe up sticky spots on the table or shelves. The walls were very dirty, too with fingerprints of previous tenants. Maybe it was end-of-season problems or the arrival time communication problem. The beds weren't great. Everytime we sat down on the bed the wooden slats would pop out and make a horrible noise as they hit the floor. It wasn't comfortable and had us waking up in the night if we just rolled over in bed casually. We did not sleep very well. We were comfortable with three living in the space, but you'd have to be VERY close friends to fit 5 people in the space.

The apartment was exactly what we anticipated and suited our needs perfectly. The washing machine was appreciated and the decor was clean and tidy. The location, in accordance with the tariff, was ideal. The area was suitable for bars - particularly the late bar directly opposite - and breakfast cafes, and was also handy for Barcelona's Camp Nou stadium. The only reservations we had were the apartment's shower, which was not very powerful.
