Charming Barcelona apartment in the Gothic Quarters

This family apartment on the 4th floor of a building without elevator is perfect for friends or families visiting Barcelona and wishing to stay in a comfortable apartment in the center of the city, in the Barrio Gotico.
This comfortable apartment has 3 bedrooms, which are distributed over 65 m². With 5 single beds I can accommodate up to 5 people. The highlight of this Barcelona apartment is the balcony which overlooks the famous Las Ramblas. This vacation rental further has air conditioning, central heating, TV, stereo, a fully equipped kitchen and a washing machine. Towels and bed linen are included in the price.

Strategically located in the charming Barrio Gotico the apartment is surrounded by many places of interest. Moreover, it is well-connected by public transportation. Right around the corner of the apartment is the Metro station “Liceu”, on the Green Line, which takes you to Montjuic and Fira Barcelona as well as to Gaudi’s famous Parc Güell within 15 minutes. Strolling down the Ramblas you can go shopping even on Sundays at the Mare Magnum, visit the Borne district and its vibrant nightlife or enjoy local specialties at the La Boqueria market close to the Liceu theater. This apartment is the ideal choice for your Barcelona vacation – centrally located, well-connected and fully equipped!

SUPPLEMENTS:
For stays longer than 20 days, which most certainly are welcome, the electricity and water expenses are not included in the price and the security deposit is subject to change depending on the length of the stay.
Groups whose members are all under 28 years of age will have to leave a security deposit of 300€, which will be returned upon departure.

It is the Medieval centre of the city and a true labyrinth. Walk around the little streets around the Cathedral. Discover the most old antique dealers, or the feathers and umbrellas’ merchants in the street Banys. It is here, where took place the most determining historical events of Barcelona. This is the oldest part of the city so it is not the best upkept. The area contains small narrow streets and most buildings are more than 100 years old.
There are tourist shops and restaurants all around with menus in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish and Catalan. It is known as one of the poor districts in Barcelona but one of the most charming.
Every street has a hidden bar or café to shelter you from the heat and sun. Most tours spend 6 hours just trying to explain a brief history of the Barrio Gotico.

De airco maakt erg veel lawaai. Iedere 2 minuten klinkt het alsof iemand met een drilboor aan de gang gaat. De extra douche in het toilet is erg krap en het doortrekken van deze wc gaat niet makkelijk, omdat het koordje in de douche zit en erg hoog hangt.

Une semaine à 5 jeunes en août 2011. Un appartement impeccable et qui correspond très bien à la description à quelques petites détails près : l'appartement est au 3e étage de l'immeuble mais qui correspond en fait à un 4e puisqu'on monte un escalier pour accéder au rez de chaussée. De plus, l'appartement ne comporte pas de balcon à proprement parler mais deux appuis de fenêtre à hauteur du sol. Sinon, appartement très agréable avec deux belles salles de bain, des chambres spacieuses, salon et chambre sur la rue bien isolées du bruit. Appartement très bien placé, même si la plage et les boites de nuit du port olympic demandent une petite trotte. Très proche du métro, et un Carrefour Market très pratique à dix minutes à pied un peu plus haut sur La Rambla. Nous recommandons donc vivement cet appartement!!

Great location for city-get-away, very central and cool view overlooking the action of the Rambla. Noisy at night if windows kept open, but that is a part of the living midst everything deal.

It was very nice. The contact persons were all very friendly. When we arrived (past 3PM), the flat was not yet ready. But 1 hour later the cleaning staff finished. The contact even organized a taxi for us and all was fine.

Net appartement op prima locatie aan de Ramblas. Dat kan 's avonds voor wat geluidsoverlast zorgen. Je moet een paar flinke trappen op om het appartement te bereiken, dus niet geschikt voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn.

Een prima appartement op een toplocatie. Als je goed ter been bent zijn de trappen prima te doen. Met de deuren dicht en de airco aan heb je absoluut geen geluidsoverlast. De kleine badkamer mag die naam niet hebben. Alleen gebruik gemaakt van de grote badkamer die goed en ruim genoeg was. Zeker een appartement om te boeken bij een bezoek aan de prachtige stad Barcelona. Goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding.

The apartment is in a very good location for exploring the Gothic Quarters and is very close to the metro. It was as described and was clean, basic but comfortable. The air conditioning in the living area was very welcome (especially after the stairs, they keep you fit) and the kitchen was well equipt enough to make a decent meal in. We all really enjoyed our stay.

Appartement idéal pour visiter Barcelone à pied, tout est à proximité, même le marché pour les courses. D'un confort suffisant, l'appartement est clair et agréable à vivre, pas très bruyant en raison de la bonne isolation des fenêtres. Nous avons vraiment apprécié cette location.

L'appartamento è molto conveniente, l'accoglienza è stata perfetta, ed il responsabile è stato molto gentile e disponibile. L'appartamento è luminoso, pulito e con tutti i comfort, soprattutto è in un ottima sistemazione nel centro delle Ramblas. Alcuni inconvenienti, i due bagni in realtà non sono completi, ed una camera da letto è senza finestre. Giudizio molto buono.

The only downfall was the five flights of stairs which was quite a work out in itself. Other than that the place was comfortable and in a great location. This was a good value and fit our needs perfectly. It's location was perfect: near the metro and a small grocery store. We really enjoyed the space of the apartment. My only complaint was that the front bedroom was noisy, but all the other bedrooms were quiet. I would recommend and use this agency again.

Unico neo è che dovreste indicare a che piano si trova l'appartamento e se esiste l'ascensore. nel caso nostro non ha comportato grossi problemi ma la cosa potrebbe creare difficoltà a chi ha problemi di deambulazione. Commento complessivo: Barcellona è una città bellissima.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr einfach ausgestattet aber sauber. Die Lage ist jedoch genial. Verkehrsgünstiger gehts nimmer. Links der Hafen, rechts die City. Für Urlauber, die die Ruhe suchen nicht zu empfehlen. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist die Abwicklung mit der Kontaktperson. Absolut problemlos.

Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, schien frisch renoviert und lag sehr zentrumsgünstig direkt an den Ramblas. Wir waren mit ihr sehr zufrieden, auch was die Möglichkeiten zum Kochen und Schlafen anging (Der Ramblas ist bisschen laut).

The apartment's location was perfect for our holiday, it was close to everything. The apartment was good and even if it was located on las Ramblas, the outside noise wasn't disturbing at all. It was a comfortable and nice overall stay. We have nothing to complain about and would love to visit Barcelona again.

The flat is in an ideal location and very well presented and provides good facilities. The only drawback is the size of the existing bathroom (a new bathroom is currently under construction) and there is no air con. in the bedrooms. Owner helpful and prompt.
