This Riera Baixa holiday rental in the central El Raval district is an economic choice for any holiday maker, providing quality accommodation at a good price, since it has recently been renovated.
This vacation rental is decorated with stylish furniture and at the same time it maintains some of the characteristics, such as wooden beams, of the old building it is located in. Up to four people can make this rental their temporary home as it has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with a bunk bed. It has one bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious living room that also serves as dining room. Further amenities include TV, stereo, heaters, air conditioning and a washing machine, ideal for longer stays at the apartment. For stays longer than 20 days, which most certainly are welcome, the electricity and water expenses are not included in the price and the security deposit is subject to change depending on the length of the stay. Groups whose members are all under 28 years of age will have to leave a security deposit of 300€ which will be returned upon departure.
As this holiday rental is very centrally located you can walk to all downtown sights, such as Las Ramblas, Barrio Gotico, the architecturally renowned Passeig de Gracia and many more sights that are waiting to be explored. The metro station Liceu, directly on Las Ramblas, is the closest one with three walking minutes from the apartment. It is located on the green line and takes you to Montjuic and the Barcelona Fair grounds as well as to Gaudi’s phenomenal Parc Güell within ten minutes. In any event, the different urban renewal projects undertaken by the City for the 1992 Olympics and the improvement in social services have changed the face of the neighborhood. As we walk through the Raval, which grew up during the industrial revolution of the mid 19th century, we get the sensation that we have entered a modern version of the Tower of Babel. People of the most diverse origin inhabit the quarter and lend it a unique color. This multiculturalism impregnates every sphere of the social reality of the neighborhood. The traditional Boquería market now boasts the most exotic products from around the world. Stands featuring yucca, papaya, zapote, rocoto, ají amarillo and choclo have sprouted up next to those selling products from local Catalan farms and market gardens. wir waren von 19.07.2008 bis 06.08.2008. Die wohnung ist eigentlich sehr gut ausgestattet und auch sauber,was allerdings uns gefehlt hat war ein ofen, eine vernümpftige Waschmaschine und ein Farsthul,denn es fiel uns mit dem einkauf wirklich sehr schwer die 4 Etagentreppen hochzulaufen.In der wohnung hatten wir paar mal besuch mit würmern und ameisen,und was uns immer genervt hat,das immer irgendwelche leute an unserer Tür geklingelt haben.Bussverbindungen sind ganz gelegen,man erreicht den strand innerhalb 30 minuten.Die Bettwäsche musste ich alle drei tage waschen und neu beziehen da die putzfrau erst 2tage vor unserer abreise neue Bettwäsche brachte was allerdings nicht mehr nötig war. sonst war alles ganz ok der Vermieter war pünktlich und ganz freundlich und zuverlässig.Die Wohnung ist trotzdem empfehlenswert.
