This apartment is located on the sixth floor of a nice building(lift available) in the Modernist area of L´Eixample, on the corner of Rambla Catalunya, which is one of the nicest and trendiest areas in Barcelona. In this area you will find many nice cafés, good restaurants and tapas bars, bakeries and some excellent shopping streets within walking distance. Besides that this area is also filled with monuments from Barcelona's modernist period, like for example casa Battlò and La Pedrera, two famous works of Gaudì.

The nearest metro stop is Diagonal, from here you can take 4 different lines to go anywhere in the city. Metro stop Passeig de Gracia is also nearby and from here you can take line 4 (the yellow line) which will take you to the beach within 15 minutes. Furthermore there are buses going from both Diagonal and Passeig de Gracia and usually there is an abundance of taxis available and taxi rates in Barcelona are quite low.
