The apartment was very convenient and close to La Rambla, but as it didn't face the street, it was fairly quiet. The apartment was well equipped and comfortable too.

I think the most helpful way to review this appartment would be to say that I would have no hesitation in staying here again. The location is fantastic, i.e. 2 minutes from Las Ramblas and all major public transport networks. The street itself looked a bit dingey on arrival but is actually great and packed with neighbourhood necessities like pattisseries general stores internet acess shops and the like. The flat itself has a few minor flaws but very trivial, and all were pointed out by Orial the contact person, who was most helpful before and during our stay and helped us settle in very easily. So to summarise, it's not the Hilton but I loved everything about my stay in Barcelona including the appartment. I'll be back!

Overall, we were very pleased with our accommodation and especially with the contact person. Oriol was great. Our one suggestion would be to note that this is essentially an enclosed apartment. It gets little natural light.

We would point out that due to lack of sun, it being an inside court and the apartment on the first floor, the apartment should not be advertised as an apartment with a usable outdoor court. Only on the hottest of days would anyone consider sitting out there. It is great for hanging laundry but that's about it. Kitchen equipment could use a check and upgrade, and more wastebaskets wouldn't be amiss. Otherwise an excellent place to stay.

Although not the accomadation we originally booked the apartment fulfilled the criteria that we wanted, it was most importantly clean, it was warm, the beds were comfortable. The level of equipment etc was very good although an electric kettle wouldn't have gone amiss. That said the friendly contact person and the great location ensured that we had a great time. I would have no hesitation booking again.
