Apartment: Taulat-Poble Nou Beach

Situated between Poble Nou and the Eixample Dret, is this old Industrial area of Barcelona. Thanks to the Olympic games of 1992 and above all the Forum 2004 this area has undergone a radical transformation. Perhaps the most important transformation is the opening of the Avenida Diagonal, the city’s most important motorway which crosses its length, all the way until the sea. The old factories have been torn down and transformed into modern housing complexes and modern office buildings. New commercial centers, pedestrian walkways and green areas have all been opened. The new nerve center of the “barrio” is las Gloria. This area beholds numerous green zones, parks and is very well communicated by metro (Line 1 y Line 2), by bus and by the trolly (Trambesos)
