In any event, the different urban renewal projects undertaken by the City for the 1992 Olympics and the improvement in social services have changed the face of the neighborhood. As we walk through the Raval, which grew up during the industrial revolution of the mid 19th century, we get the sensation that we have entered a modern version of the Tower of Babel.
