Great Barcelona apartment in El Raval

This sunny and tasteful downtown apartment is located on the fourth floor of a historic building in the Raval district, and has a great view over the Montjuic. This accommodation in Barcelona has recently been renovated and incorporated the historic value of the building into the modern design. It is the perfect Barcelona home for a group of up to 7 people looking to explore the city.
The spacious 80m² apartment provides 3 bedrooms, one with a double bed, one with a bunk bed and the third with a single bed. The apartment also includes a double sofa bed in the living room which is suitable for 2 adults. The colorful open kitchen is fully equipped and makes cooking dinner together a real joy. Further amenities include TV, Internet, central heating for cooler winter months, air conditioning for hot summer months and your own washing machine with an iron and ironing board. Just ideal for longer stays in Barcelona. The highlight of this apartment is the balcony with its great views.

Within 5 walking minutes you can reach the metro station “Liceu” on the Green Line which takes you directly to the Fira Barcelona conference grounds, Montjuic and also up to Gracia and Parc Güell. At the same time Liceu is located on the busy and popular Las Ramblas, next to the Liceu Theater and La Boqueria, if you wish to buy fresh local food at this famous downtown market.

In any event, the different urban renewal projects undertaken by the City for the 1992 Olympics and the improvement in social services have changed the face of the neighborhood. As we walk through the Raval, which grew up during the industrial revolution of the mid 19th century, we get the sensation that we have entered a modern version of the Tower of Babel. People of the most diverse origin inhabit the quarter and lend it a unique color. This multiculturalism impregnates every sphere of the social reality of the neighborhood. The traditional Boquería market now boasts the most exotic products from around the world. Stands featuring yucca, papaya, zapote, rocoto, ají amarillo and choclo have sprouted up next to those selling products from local Catalan farms and market gardens. A district almost entirely metamorphosed. Old den for artists and intellectuals, there remains an air of bohemian but modernism has installed.

Sehr schöne Wohnung, alles hat funktioniert. Nur ist die Haustüre und der Lift etwas klein, so dass unser Zwillingskinderwagen nur zusammengeklappt rein passte. War etwas mühsam. Ansonsten alles super.

nous avons passé de formidables vacances! la situation géographique de l'appartement y est pour beaucoup! tout est à proximité (metro, centre ville à pied,supermarché,quartier typique..), pas de mauvaises surprises bien au contraire!
