How to arrive in Pineda de Mar in Costa Brava?

By car

Pineda de Mar is located half way between Barcelona and Girona, about 50 km from each of the two capitals, a fact which greatly facilitates both the arrival from Barcelona or Girona-Costa Brava airports.
You can reach Pineda de Mar along the national road N-II, or the highway C-32 (exit 122). The network of roads and freeways near Pineda de Mar make that in less than an hour's travel permit access to major cities such as Barcelona, Girona, Mataró, Terrassa and Sabadell, and the French border around 100 miles.

By train

Pineda de Mar has a station on line C1 of the RENFE railways. You can check timetables at www.renfe.es  RENFE local trains, Line 1 to Pineda de Mar (every half hour) Time travel: 1h 20 minutes

By bus

From Barcelona with the Barcelona Bus company leaving Ronda de Sant Pere or Estació del Nord.

Night Bus Nº82:
  • From Plaza Catalunya in Barcelona at 0.55, 1.55, 2.55 and 3.55 hours, and it has the stop in Pineda de Mar on the Mediterranean Avenue.
  • From Pineda de Mar starts the journey to Barcelona at 23.55, 00.55, 1.55 and 2.55h. Other services are at 3:55 and 4:55, but only to the railway station of Mataró, where you can connect with the first trains.
By Plane
  • From Barcelona airport take the train from Plaza Cataluña to Pineda de Mar
  • From Girona airport by bus to the railway station.
