Apartment Frequently Asked Questions

How do I search for an accommodation?
To search for accommodation, click on the words “ Apartment Search” and into your travel dates along with the number of people in your party.  Then press “ Search”.  On the next page, a list of all available apartments will be displayed.  All apartments displayed on this page are available to be rented on the days you have entered.

How do I make a booking for an apartment?
Once you then take your travel dates into the search form and selected an apartment from the availability list, click on the words “ Select”.  On the next page you'll be giving details of the apartment with the final price.  The final price includes a onetime cleaning fee for when you leave the apartment.  This price also includes local tax.  Click on the words “ Book It!”  and continue to the booking page. On the booking page, you must fill in the form with your personal data and select the method of payment such as credit card.  In order to complete the booking you must pay the amount indicated in the prepayment.  The prepayment is generally 20% of the rental price.  Your credit card will only be charged the amount of the prepayment or if you have chosen bank transfer you only have to transfer the amount of the prepayment.

Is cleaning included in the price?
Yes, a onetime cleaning fee is included in the price for a onetime cleaning of the apartment.  Our apartments are cleaned before and after our guests enter and leave the apartments.  If you wish to have the apartment clean during your stay you must arrange this with the apartment owner or contact BarcelonaPoint.com.  Generally, an extra cleaning costs €30.

When do I receive the address and contact details of the owner?
Once you have paid the prepayment to reserve the apartment of your choice we will e-mail you the details of the apartment owner.  Top ^

How much do I have to pay as a deposit?
Each apartment has a different rule regarding deposits.  If an apartment requires a deposit this will be indicated in the apartment details and on the booking form page.  This amount is to be paid to the owner when you receive the keys.  This deposit is refunded when you leave the apartment.

When will I be refunded the deposit paid?
The owner or contact person of the apartment will refund of the money you paid as a deposit when you return the keys to this person granted you have not caused any damage to the apartment.

How do I pay the prepayment?
To pay the prepayment you must complete the booking form and inser your credit card details. We will charge the prepayment to your credit card when we had verified that the apartment is available.  Follow the steps above indicated in the section “How do I make a booking for an apartment?”

What is provided in the apartment?
All of our apartments are fully equipped with kitchen, shower, toilet, towels and bed linen.  Extra equipment such as TV, stereo, Internet and cable TV vary depending on the apartment.  This information can be found in the detailed apartment description available for every apartment.

When do I receive a confirmation that my booking is confirmed?
Once you have entered your personal information and your payment details we verify the information provided and charge your credit card the amount of the prepayment.  Once the prepayment has been charged we send you the complete confirmation of the booking which includes the owners/contact person’s details as well as the exact location of the apartment.

How do I receive the keys for the apartment?
once you have received your booking a confirmation you must contact the property owner/contact person and arrange a time to pick up the keys.  You must contact the owner/contact person at least four days prior to arriving at the apartment.

How do I cancel my apartment reservation?
To can see her reservation you must contact Barcelona pointed.com.  We will then notified the apartment owner that you have canceled your reservation.

Do receive a refund if I cancel my accommodation reservation?
The amount which is refunded depends on the amount of time you cancel prior to the date of the reservation.  Please read our terms and conditions for a detailed explanation of the refund amounts.

How do I search for hotel?
Click on “ Hotel search” in the main navigation on the left-hand side of the page. In the Hotel search form enter your travel dates and the number of people in your party also you must select the destination from the destination list. Then press the search button. On the next page you'll be given a list of all available hotels for the destination that you have chosen.

How do I book a hotel?
Follow the steps described above to find a list of the available hotels in the destination of your choice then click on the words “ Price and details” of the room you are interested in. On the next page you'll find a detailed description of the price and reservation along with the details of the Hotel you have selected. Click on the words space “Reserve now”. This will bring you to the booking form. Here you must enter your personal details along with your credit card information. Once you have submitted your personal details with your credit card information we will verify this information, charge your credit card and send you a complete confirmation of your hotel booking.

Do I have to pay any other costs when booking a hotel?
No, there are no extra costs of any kind. The price indicated in the booking form is the final price for the Hotel that you have selected. This price includes all taxes and in the other related fees. You do not have to pay any money to the Hotel when you arrive.

When do I receive my hotel booking confirmation?
Generally you receive your hotel booking confirmation within 24 hours of placing your order. During this time we check the validity of the information you have provided to us. We then we'll send you a complete confirmation of your hotel booking via e-mail.

How do I cancel my hotel booking?
To cancel your booking you must contact BarcelonaPoint.com via telephone, e-mail or in writing and give us your reservation number. We will then cancel your reservation.

Do I receive a refund if I cancel my hotel booking?
In the booking form as well as in the confirmation e-mail which you receive the cancellation policy for the hotel that you have chosen is clearly stated. Generally there is no booking cancellation fee if you cancel well in advance of the arrival date. If you cancel within the time specified in the cancellation policy you will be refunded the price of your booking minus the price of the cancellation fee.
