The world’s largest telecommunication and computer networks exhibition, the 3GSM World Congress or also called World Mobile Congress, takes place from 16^th to 19^th February 2009 in the Fira Barcelona.

Since 1987 the exhibition is yearly organised by the GSM Association in another country. Barcelona will host the important and exciting exhibition this year.  In 2008, the World Congress counted more than 55,000 visitors from 183 countries, 5,300 conference delegates and 1,300 exhibitors.
