How to get to Barcelona
There are many different ways to come to Barcelona:
By Plane
As the price of airline tickets fall thanks to the low cost airlines it is cheaper than ever before to come to Barcelona.
If you are coming to Barcelona there are 3 airports in Catalunya from where you can join the city: El Prat (Barcelona City), Girona (Costa Brava) and Reus (Costa Daurada).
From the airport you can reach easily the city by bus, train or taxi.
How to get to the city?
The Aerobus is colored blue. It goes from the airport terminals to Plaza España, Urgell, Plaza Universitat and Plaza Catalunya. Travel lasts more or less 35 minutes.
Price : single ticket 5.30, return ticket 9.15€
Leaves every 5-15 minutes from T1 and 10 to 20min from T2.
To get the train just cross the bridge.
It stops in the stations:
Sants Estació (Near Plaça de Sants and Plaça d'Espanya)
Passeig de Gracia (Near Barcelona Center)
Clot-Aragó (Near Av. Meridiana and Plaça de Les Glòries)
Price and Time: 1,65 € - lasts 27min and leaves every 30 minutes,
By Taxi
You will find them at the airport entrance with their yellow and black color.
Specially recommended when you don’t know the city and ideal for tourists! Get the taxi and drop you baggage right into the apartment so and begin to enjoy your vacations. Prices are stipulated and you’ll find a sticker on the window that shows the prices to be charges. Also you can ask the taxi driver for "un recibo" (receipt), this can avoid overcharging.
Price and Time: About 30 Euros from Airport to the city centre and around 30 minutes.

Girona- Costa Brava Airport
Budget travelers that travel with low cost airlines know well this airport as the main companies land here, and it's only 1hour form Barcelona.
How to get to Barcelona?
By Bus:
Only Ryanair airline offers a Bus service that links Girona Airport with Barcelona ( Estació del Nord/Estación del Norte, close to Arco de Triunfo)
Price and Time: 12€ single ticket 21€ return ticket - 1h10
The airport doesn’t have any train station, so you should go to Girona's train station by bus or taxi in order to get a train.
Price and Time: Girona-Barcelona ticket costs between 7 and 10€ (depends on how direct is the train) - There are departures every 20minutes to Barcelona.
The Catalunya Express train makes fewer stops than the others.
You can take a taxi to go to Barcelona, of course it will be a more expensive than the other ways, but at the end you won’t be stressed to find an autobus or train.
Price and Time: Price is around 1.80€ per kilometer + supplements of luggage/night/airport Service, etc. And it takes around 1h10 to arrive to Barcelona.

Reus Airport
Distance to Barcelona: 100 km aprox.
This is a small airport situated in the south of Catalunya, used also by low cost airlines but less popular than Girona's, ideal also if you travel to Costa Daurada and Port Aventura.
Once you arrive at Reus Airport, the quickest and cheapest way to get to Barcelona it’s by bus.
The bus stop is located in the same arrival terminal.
Price and Time: between 11€ and 18€ - 1h30 of duration aprox.
You will need to take the bus to go to the train station of Reus (20 minutes). There is a bus stop in front of the airport arrivals area to take the bus that brings you to the city.
Price and Time: Price is 7.65€ - 1h45 aprox.
By Taxi
You can take also a taxi, but it’s more expensive than the other ways.
Price and Time: 120€ - 1h30 aprox.

RENFE runs the Spanish rail network from Madrid to all the major cities and also controls the routes and services that link Spain with France and the rest of European Countries.Seat reservations are required on all intercity trains and supplements are payable on many faster trains.
The station has a tourist information point, luggage deposit, a bank offering currency exchange (open daily from 08.00 to 22.00), restaurants, shops, a first-aid point, lockers and secure parking.

The international terminals for big ships are situated a little bit further but can be reached easily with the PortBus, the port bus shuttle or Taxi.
