The fully air-conditioned 3-storey hotel affords a welcoming ambience and was constructed in 1961 following the plans of one of the most famous Catalan cook, Josep Mercarder i Brugúes. It underwent renovation work in a classic style in the year 2005, offering a total of 42 rooms of which 3 are suites. Guests are welcomed in the lobby with a 24-hour reception desk and lifts. Facilities on offer include a shop, a conference room, a TV and games room and the well-known excellent restaurant with a bar and reading salon on the first floor. Laundry and room services, public wireless Internet access, medical assistance and bicycle hire (charges apply) are also available. A parking garage is also on hand for those arriving by car (charges apply).
This hotel is located about 10 minutes by car from the centre of Figeures. Links to the public transport network can be reached in about 100 m, while the nearest nightclubs are around 1 km away. Girona, the provincial capital, is 30 minutes drive from the hotel. It takes about 1.5 hours to Barcelona, while Girona airport lies some 56 km away.
