Housed in a former hospital dating from the past century, the hotel has been converted into a hotel featuring the Art Nouveau / Art Déco styles. The hotel is located just a few metres from Rambla de Cataluña, Paseo de Gracia and Avenida Diagonal, right in the heart of the business, shopping and tourist district. Opened in March 2006, the hotel has 77 rooms, several of which are split-level, triple rooms and suites, and some with terraces and semi-private swimming pools. The hotel has one restaurant and two bars, a roof top terrace with a swimming pool and a gym.
This hotel is located in the centre of the colourful city of Barcelona, directly beside one of the main roads. Links to the public transport network are to be found a stone's throw away and offer easy access to other areas of the city. Numerous shopping and entertainment venues with bars and restaurants are within 500 m of the hotel. In addition, the beach is about 2 km away and Barcelona airport lies around 15 km from the hotel.
