Built in 1965 and renovated in the year 2000, this 5-storey beach hotel comprises a total of 320 rooms as well as an expansive garden. Guests may take advantage of the lobby area with 24-hour reception desk, a currency exchange facility, lifts, café, games room, TV room, wireless Internet terminal and bicycle hire service. The air-conditioned restaurant features a non-smoking area and highchairs for infants and invites guests to stop off for a bite to eat. Guests may park their cars either in the hotel car park or in the underground garage. There is a playground and kids' club for children.

Sol D'Or hotel lies 50m near Playa del Racó beach (La Pineda), 300m to Aquopolis Water Park, 3km far from Port Aventura Park and aproximately 4km far from Salou center. Public transport network are close by (approximately 50 m away).
