The accommodation is in good location without a doubt, however, it is not comfortable and I would say 4 people at the state it is at the moment would find it very uncomfortable. There were 2 of us. It needs a good overall cleanout and refurbishing. When we came a girl with no English what so ever met us and ‘showed’ us around. Boiler was not on hence first thing we found was a cold shower and no toilet paper. When one comes after the long trip and is there on holidays this is the last thing one would want to worry! There was very unpleasant smell coming from the toilet and fridge was very unclean as well. Towels and bed sheets looked warned out and rather dirty and we were almost thinking of going to the shop to buy new ones! Bed was very uncomfortable and there were bits of ceiling paint falling on the head whilst asleep! If we knew that it is in this state I would have rather paid more and stayed in the newly refurbished apartment or at least somewhere with a comfortable bed and clean sheets. Owner was very pleasant and I wish she would have met us. As above I suggest this accommodation needs a good clean out and refurbishing, since the location is really attractive! At the state this studio is at the moment I would definately NOT recomend it for my friends nor others to stay there.

appartement très bien situé au coeur du vieux Barcelone. Il est très calme car donnant sur une cour intérieure, très propre et très agréable pour un séjour. Super qualité /prix. Les échanges avec la propriétaire ont été très chaleureux, prête à tous renseignements pour rendre notre séjour le plus agréabe possible.

I think it was nice, but as we where there in february we didn't need a terasse so much, but if you stay there in the summer time that would be necessary. It was a very old house, at first we where chocked, But we had a nice holiday.

Jammer dat het overhandigen van de sleutels zowel bij aankomst als bij vertrek door onze contactpersoon werd overgelaten aan de schoonmaakster die geen woord engels/duits of frans sprak. Verder is het wat jammer dat in alle kastjes verspreid schoonmaakbenodigdheden liggen: dat kan beter centraal, bij elkaar. Het is niet zo fijn om overal schoonmaakbenodigdheden als sponsjes, borstels etc. aan te treffen. De bezem is afgesleten en héél vies. Het beddengoed is oud. Dekens zijn te kort c.q. te smal: daarin zou wel iets meer geinvesteerd mogen worden, wat meer up to date (dekbed, hoeslaken). Komt niet fris over. Handdoeken zijn ook oud. Desalniettemin hebben wij een heerlijke vakantie gehad en was het verder een hele fijne plek om te vertoeven.

Très bonne organisation. L'appartement est correct, sauf le ménage qui n'était pas très bien fait et le bac à douche très petit. Il est cependant très bien situé car en plein coeur de Barcelone.

This apartment is in a great location and surprisingly quiet considering how near it is to the centre. The facilities are reasonably basic but perfectly adequate for a budget option and the air conditioning was a real bonus. The only hing I would say id that the bedding and linen could be up to a higher standard, some where stained and not all the right fit for the bed but other than that it was great.

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und zentral gelegen (trotzdem jedoch ruhig!) in einer der typischen Altstadtgassen mit Fenster zum Hof (schön hell) und einer Terrasse auf dem Dach mit Liegestühlen. Läden und Bars gibt es zur Genüge, so dass die Versorgung absolut kein Problem darstellt. Einziges kleineres Manko waren die zur Verfügung gestellten Decken/Kissen und die dazu fehlenden Bezüge (im Sommer ist das wahrscheinlich kein Problem) sowie die Geschirrauswahl. Für vier Personen könnte das dann auch knapp werden. Ansonsten sehr zu empfehlen: Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, gute Lage, nette Kontaktperson, romantisches Flair.

Monec Loft apartment offers great value for money. It's situated in a charming part of the town, within a walking distance to all its turistic attractions. It's also very quiet. It has a nice roof terrace although in the winter we couldn't make much use of it but I imagine in the spring it would be gorgeous to have a morning coffee there.

Everything was as described, not luxurious but well equipped. And, the location nearby Arc de Triomf in one of the old parts of town was perfect for random walks through the area and out to the harbour. I can fully recommend the appartment and the very helpful landlady, Mrs. Moitzi.
