Many sailing, windsurfing and diving schools are located in the port of L'Estartit. Besides, L’Estartit offers a 5 km long paradisiacal beach with fine sand and shoal water. You can take a walk from the port to the north along the promenade Paseo del Molinet, which leads directly to Molinet, the closest place to the Medes islands and the best to observe them.
