Collserola park is an oasis of nature just outside the city of Barcelona. From the city center it takes a mere 15 to 20 minutes to reach the park. Discover this beautiful wooded area hiking, by bike or on the back of a horse while listening to the gentle murmur of small brooks and the singing of birds. The park's surface almost reaches 8000 hectares. Besides many interesting plant and animal species you can also find some historical remains, like medieval farmhouses and chapels.

You can reach the park and the apartment by taking the urban underground train ("ferrocarrils") from Plaza Catalunya. Take line S1 or S2 and get off at Baixador de Vallvidrera for the apartment or at Les Planes (one further) for the park.

The location is quiet and extremely well communicated with every means of transport. The metro and train station of Arc de Triomf is only 100 m. away. Trains arrive there directly from the airport and there are many bus lines that take you all around the city. The beach is only 10 minutes away by metro or bus, or a nice 15-20 minute walk through the Ciutadella park.
