The youngest will be amazed by the Aquarium while teenagers and young adults will prefer the artistic Magic Fountains show or the Chocolate Museum! How to get there: Train line 7(brown), from Plaça Catalunya, get off at Avenida Tibidabo, take the Tramvia Blau up to Plaça del Doctor Andreu, take a break at the Mirablau for a short drink and an amazing view over Barcelona and get on the funicular to the Plaça Tibidabo.

The Magic Fountains were built especially for the Universal Exhibition by Carles Buigas, who took the bet to finish this ambitious project alone, on time. They are now part of the most visited fountains in the world. Since the first show in 1929, the fountains never ceased amazing travelers with shows mixing music, colors, lights and water. A must-see next to Plaça Espanya at the foot of Montjuïc Hill for both parents and children!

Over 7,000 animals from 400 species live in the Barcelona Zoo. The visit to the zoo can take all morning. You can enjoy the dolphin show and see tropical birds, reptiles, felines and other species. Families can take their children to the petting zoo, the preferred activity for little ones to get in contact with farm animals: pigs, sheeps, rabbits,etc.
