Tibidabo Barcelona's amusement park

tibidabo park A day at Tibidabo Amusement Park usually starts with two short train rides first with the “Tramvia Blau” and then the funicular. Once at the top of the hill, you’ll discover a place where you and your family can enjoy exciting and fun attractions.
Don’t forget to visit the Marionetarium (a Puppet Museum show) or the Museu d’Autòmats with its collection of robots.
Kids (but not only) can also play with distorting mirrors where you’ll discover a short, fat, thin, tall or very tall version of yourself in the Miramiralls.

How to get there: Train line 7(brown), from Plaça Catalunya, get off at Avenida Tibidabo, take the Tramvia Blau up to Plaça del Doctor Andreu, take a break at the Mirablau for a short drink and an amazing view over Barcelona and get on the funicular to the Plaça Tibidabo.

Montjuïc: The Magic Fountains

The Magic Fountains were built especially for the Universal Exhibition by Carles Buigas, who took the bet to finish this ambitious project alone, on time. They are now part of the most visited fountains in the world. Since the first show in 1929, the fountains never ceased amazing travelers with shows mixing music, colors, lights and water. A must-see next to Plaça Espanya at the foot of Montjuïc Hill for both parents and children!

L'Aquàrium de Barcelona

Golondrinas (harbour pleasure boats)

Parc Zoològic de Barcelona

La Boqueria

For sure kids will be pleased to visit this colorful market in the center of the city. It can also be a good means to teach them the different kinds of vegetables and fruits, and all unusual products you will find in this area. Nevertheless be careful because there are a lot of people!
